About The Job At CHANEL, we are focused on creating an inclusive culture that nurtures personal growth, contributing to collective progress.We believe the uniqueness of each individual increases the diversity, complementarity and effectiveness of our teams.We strongly encourage your application, as we value the perspective, experience, and potential you could bring to CHANEL.About the role: As the strategic link between the creative vision of the House and the commercial reality of the Brazilian market, the Fashion Merchandising Manager is responsible for defining and executing the local product strategy across all categories.You will curate the ideal assortments for each boutique, analyze performance to optimize sell-through, and ensure the flawless implementation of CHANEL's 360° merchandising plan.Acting as the voice of Brazil within regional product structures, you will influence global strategies while preserving local market relevance.Responsibilities:Define, deploy, and monitor the local merchandising strategy in alignment with CHANEL's image and business ambitionsLead the buying process across seasonal showrooms and ensure tailored assortments per boutiqueAnalyze sales data, monitor KPIs (SOH / Sell-Thru / Lifecycles) and drive business decisions on replenishments, transfers, and markdownsPartner closely with Visual Merchandising, Retail, Marketing and Style Expertise to elevate product visibility and full-look cohesionProvide market intelligence to regional/global teams on trends, client preferences, and product needsOversee Eyewear category performance, assortment, visibility and retail activation plansManage and develop the Fashion Merchandising intern, fostering strong collaboration with retail and regional teamsTechnical Knowledge and Skills:Strong analytical and strategic mindset with proven experience in Fashion/Luxury Merchandising (Buyer) or RetailDeep understanding of market dynamics, client behavior and product performanceFluent in Portuguese and English, Spanish or French are a plusProficiency in Excel, reporting tools and merchandising systemsExcellent communication, coordination and influencing skillsLeadership capabilities with a hands-on, solution-oriented approach What we are looking for:Minimum 8 years' experience in Fashion/Luxury Merchandising (Buyer) and/or RetailStrong buying and product acumen, paired with creativity and commercial sensePassion for Luxury, Fashion and Arts, driven by innovation and agilityProactive and hands-on approach with strong influencing and coordination skillsWillingness to travel internationally (up to 6 times a year to Europe) What you will bring to the team:A passion for luxury, fashion and product excellenceA collaborative mindset, thriving in multicultural and cross-functional environmentsAgility and resilience to navigate complexity and fast-paced dynamics You are energized by:The heritage and timeless allure of CHANELTranslating brand vision into tangible business impactBuilding bridges between creativity and performanceTurning data into strategy and strategy into resultsLeading with influence, empathy, and precision
