Business Analyst Job DescriptionThe role of a Business Analyst is to ensure seamless integration of financial applications with IT policy.This involves designing and implementing plans to enforce compliance, leveraging standard user management processes.Evaluating SOC reports, the Business Analyst identifies potential risks and recommends mitigation strategies to maintain vendor and application compliance.Key responsibilities include:Ensuring JDE and other financial applications comply with IT PolicyDesigning and implementing plans to enforce complianceLeading vendor audits and risk assessmentsCollaborating with cross-functional teams to drive process improvementsRequired skills and qualifications include:Relevant experience working with Financial ERP applications, preferably JDEDesign and development experience with JDEHands-on knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and project management methodologiesFinancial acumen, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, revenue recognition, budgeting, and bank interfacesStrong PC skills, including MS Office Products, especially Excel and ProjectPreferred qualifications include:Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fieldRelevant experience with technology project supportExperience with one or more of the following applications: JDE, Trintech Cadency, Workiva, Cognos Analytics, OneStream, and VaricentAdvanced level proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and VisioIntermediate SQL query skills
