Linux Infrastructure Specialist

Job Opportunity:We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer to join our team.The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our real-time data systems, ensuring uptime and performance for global trading and data services.Resolve data quality issues by managing internal and external vendors to resolve data issues.Manage on-call rotations, incident management, problem resolution, and change management.Ensure optimal accuracy and timeliness of data in real-time, implementing monitoring tools to detect data issues.Collaborate with regional and global Market Data Infrastructure teams to share knowledge and experience, enriching the team's capability and providing high-quality services.Manage L2 alerts, creating and/or updating resolutions into knowledge bases, run books, scripts, and ITRS rules where possible.Manage incident lifecycles from identification to resolution, mitigating business impact in the production environment.Manage production changes, including mandatory updates, software changes/upgrades performed by vendors or internal teams, where only checkouts are necessary.Additional responsibilities include release management, event management, user support, and reporting.About Our Organization:We are an independent technology consulting firm with a global presence, bringing together diverse talents to deliver innovative solutions to clients worldwide.We are committed to excellence, collaboration, and consistently exceeding performance expectations across various industries.Requirements:Minimum 7 years of experience in infrastructure, systems, or production support roles.Highly skilled in Linux System Administration.Experience in Windows operating systems.Scripting proficiency (Bash and/or Python preferred).Experience with networking and connectivity skills, e.g., multicast, routing, switches, TCP/IP.Good communication and oral/written English skills are essential.Understanding of ITIL Foundation and IT best practices.Prior experience in banking, investment, or other financial IT environments is advantageous.Nice-to-have skills include experience with ITRS Geneos, EXEGY, or Market Data platforms, familiarity with AWS ECS, VPC, Google Cloud, and experience with GitHub/GitLab and automation pipelines.What We Offer:A modern, dynamic, and future-oriented work environment within a top global institution.Flexible working arrangements – fully remote or hybrid options.Continuous learning and certification opportunities.Competitive salary and benefits package.Long-term career prospects with international exposure.Inclusive, multicultural team with regular knowledge-sharing and team events.
