Effective Cost Optimization Specialist Job DescriptionWe're a globally renowned leader in the vegetable seed industry, dedicated to improving the livelihoods of smallholder farmers through high-quality seeds and innovative agricultural solutions.This role requires driving financial excellence by optimizing costs and making a real impact on business performance.
The Cost Optimization Specialist will report to our Finance Manager and lead in building a world-class cost accounting framework.Main Responsibilities:Drive digital finance transformation by implementing tools like Microsoft D365 and Power BI.Monitor production design, raw materials, and methods to assess their impact on cost.Lead budgeting, forecasting, and inventory management processes.Develop and execute our tax strategy to ensure compliance and minimize exposure.Why This Role Matters:This is not just about crunching numbers.
You'll be a strategic partner to our business leaders, ensuring that costs are managed effectively, resources are optimized, and decisions are backed by solid financial insights.Requirements:Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance (CPA is a strong plus).5+ years' experience in cost accounting, preferably in manufacturing.Strong expertise in financial analysis, reporting, and cost control.Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, D365, or Oracle) and BI tools (Power BI).
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.A track record of driving process improvements and delivering results.
