We are seeking a skilled Senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer to maintain and enhance the real-time data systems powering a leading investment bank.This individual will handle alert and incident management, problem resolution, and system improvements, ensuring uptime and performance for global trading and data services.Key Responsibilities:Resolve data quality issues through root cause analysis while managing internal and external vendors to resolve data issues.Support on-call incident management, problem and change management.Ensure optimal accuracy and timeliness of data on a real-time basis by implementing monitoring tools to detect data issues.Collaborate with regional and global market data infrastructure teams to share knowledge and experience, enriching the team's capability and providing high-quality services on market data.Manage L2 alerts requiring knowledge for resolutions, creating and/or updating resolutions into a knowledge base, run books, scripts, and IT rules where possible.Incident management involves managing the lifecycle from identification to resolution, mitigating business impact in the production environment.Change management includes making production changes to the ticker plant like mandatory updates, which includes content, software changes/upgrades performed by vendors or internal teams, where checkouts are necessary.Other responsibilities include release management, event management, user support, and reporting.
