Ai Expert For Utility Transformation

We are seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join our team in designing, implementing and operationalizing AI-native services that transform the utility sector.As a key member of our engineering team, you will report directly to the CTO and operate within small, agile teams alongside software engineers, security experts and product managers.The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of applied ML/AI engineering experience with expertise in Python and either Golang, Node.js or Java.
They will own the full lifecycle of AI services from data ingestion and model training to real-time deployment and monitoring.ResponsibilitiesArchitect, fine-tune and deploy AI agents purpose-built for utility use cases including predictive operations, customer engagement and energy optimizationBuild APIs, microservices and orchestration frameworks that seamlessly connect AI models with enterprise systems and grid-level data flowsDesign and manage the complete AI pipeline ingestion, embeddings, retrieval, evaluation and continuous deployment ensuring reliability and scalabilityAddress vulnerabilities unique to AI such as model drift, bias exploitation, adversarial robustness and hallucination control with sensitivity to regulated environmentsPartner with software engineers, data specialists and security teams to integrate AI capabilities into the broader client OS embedding AI by design into every product releaseRequired Skills and QualificationsExcellent English communication skills5+ years of applied ML/AI engineering experience ideally with exposure to enterprise/mission-critical systemsStrong proficiency in Python and either Golang, Node.js or Java non-Golang developers will learn and adopt Golang on the jobExpertise with ML/LLM frameworks such as PyTorch TensorFlow LangChain or equivalentExperience with vector databases orchestration frameworks and modern MLOps practicesTrack record of deploying AI services in productionStrong grounding in cloud-native architectures AWS GCP AzureAnalytical collaborative and comfortable with ambiguityBenefits15 days Paid Time Off PTO one floating day three sick days and designated national holidaysA fun fast-growing entrepreneurial companyA highly collaborative learning culture share knowledge be inclusive learn and grow togetherOpportunities to own your job and be recognized for your contributionsWork with innovative and creative people
