At the forefront of innovation, we're seeking a seasoned expert to spearhead our front-end software development endeavors.As a Senior Front-End Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in building the core platform that enables power utilities to transition from legacy systems to an AI-native future.You'll work closely with UI/UX designers to craft scalable front-end applications that deliver unparalleled user experiences.Your leadership skills will be instrumental in guiding the development team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.ResponsibilitiesFront-End Development: Collaborate with designers to build, implement, and maintain cutting-edge front-end applications, ensuring seamless user experiencesArchitecture: Spearhead front-end architectural decisions, incorporating best practices in performance optimization and responsive designLeadership: Provide strategic direction to the development team, promoting a culture of innovation and collaborationSystem Modernization: Lead the transformation of legacy workflows into modern, secure, and scalable codebases using cloud-native best practicesSecurity & Compliance: Partner with security leaders to ensure all services adhere to stringent utility-sector regulations, implementing secure coding practices by defaultAgile Delivery: Drive feature delivery and improvements in cycles measured in weeks, balancing speed with reliabilityRequired ExperienceExcellent communication skills5+ years of software engineering experience in SaaS or enterprise environments utilizing React.jsExperience with GraphQLDemonstrated ability to deliver high-quality code in fast-paced teamsBasic proficiency with AI/ML tooling (e.g., calling APIs, integrating model outputs)Cloud-native engineering experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)Clear communicator, adaptable, eager to learn and grow AI capabilities over timeStrong sense of ownership and accountability in small teamsDesired ExperienceUniversity degree or relevant industry experienceExperience with Python, Golang, Node.js, or JavaExperience working on ERP systems or within the power utilities industry
