We're looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to join our team on a 12-month contract basis.The ideal candidate will be comfortable with AWS serverless architecture, Typescript and willing to pick up new technologies.The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years relevant experience working in backend software engineering, experience using Typescript for backend development and other programming languages like Python, Java, CPP.They should also have a strong history of delivering high-quality results with minimal supervision.Key responsibilities include ensuring the quality of our data processing pipeline, creating and reviewing processes that affect speed and cost efficiency, ensuring all steps in our data pipeline are integrated seamlessly, optimising the product for continuous scalability and delivering ongoing process improvement.The ideal candidate will be a proactive results-oriented professional who excels when challenged, possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, business level English required, and have a strong history of delivering high-quality results with minimal supervision.We offer a dynamic startup environment passionate about quality problem-solving and building beautiful software.Our culture is built on two major aspects: quality and problem-solving.We foster innovation and novel approaches to problem-solving while keeping user needs at front of mind.We let the quality of our product speak for itself and always raise the bar on quality.
