MongoDB's mission is to empower innovators to create, transform, and disrupt industries by unleashing the power of software and data.We enable organizations of all sizes to easily build, scale, and run modern applications by helping them modernize legacy workloads, embrace innovation, and unleash AI.Our industry-leading developer data platform, MongoDB Atlas, is the only globally distributed, multi-cloud database and is available in more than 115 regions across AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure.Atlas allows customers to build and run applications anywhere—on premises, or across cloud providers.With offices worldwide and over 175,000 new developers signing up to use MongoDB every month, it's no wonder that leading organizations, like Samsung and Toyota, trust MongoDB to build next-generation, AI-powered applications.About the jobOur Strategy and Planning team, an integral part of our Sales Operations division, is dedicated to accelerating the growth of our Sales organization.We serve as strategic partners to our Senior Sales Leaders, collaborating on various initiatives aimed at optimizing sales processes, driving revenue growth, and uncovering valuable business insights through data analysis.We are looking for a Senior Analyst to join us where you will combine strategic planning and analysis with operational execution.You will be responsible for learning the ins and outs of our Latin America Acquisition & Growth Sales Businesses, play a critical role in building relationships with the senior leadership team and driving forward initiatives that will help us scale and grow as an organization.The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of what drives successful sales teams, a passion for data analysis and storytelling, and excels in crafting narratives that facilitate sales team growth.We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in São Paulo for our hybrid working model.The OpportunityAs a Senior Sales Strategy & Planning Analyst, you will: Drive the analytical cadence of our business, including quarterly business reviews and organizational deep divesCollaborate closely with Senior Sales leadership to conduct market and segment-specific analyses, uncovering actionable insightsConceptualize and pilot new programs to test the effectiveness of various sales roles / comp plansEstablish trust with key stakeholders in sales leadership and our cross-functional partners (including, but not limited to, Finance, Operations, Compensation, HR, Recruiting)Become an expert in understanding our Acquisition & Growth sales motions and support our go-to-market initiatives and strategiesThink critically to navigate ambiguous situations, problem solve and provide recommendations to your team and leadershipContinuously assess business performance, drive diagnostics and deliver data-driven recommendations on ways to improve, grow and scale The Ideal Candidate is/has Bachelor's Degree with a quantitative focus (Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, etc.)3+ years of work experience in either Sales Strategy / Consulting / Sales Operations / AnalyticsEffective communicator who can break down convoluted technical concepts into simple business vernacularExperience in a business partner role and/or managing executive relationshipsExperience with quarterly planning, forecasting and reportingA self-starter who is not afraid to share new ideas or disrupt current processes to improve business operating rhythmNaturally curious – you're excited by learning new things and often look for ways to innovate and developAbility to write SQL queries to extract data needed for analysisYou are a spreadsheet wizard with the ability to manipulate and analyze dataExperience with at least one major business intelligence tool (Tableau, CRM Analytics, Google Data Studio, Looker)You can navigate your way around Salesforce with relative ease, CRM Analytics experience is a plusFluent in English, proficient in Portuguese and/or Spanish requiredLocated in Sao Paulo, preferred
