Job Description:At our company, we are building a cutting-edge data collection pipeline on AWS with Go and Typescript.We have a web application deployed on AWS, leveraging the serverless paradigm, where most of our code runs as AWS's Lambda's.The infrastructure is managed by Terraform.We're looking for an experienced Backend (Typescript) Engineer to join us initially on a 12-month contract basis.The ideal candidate will be comfortable with AWS, Typescript, and willing to pick up new technologies like Go.Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field Minimum of 5 years relevant experience working in Backend Software Engineering Experience using Typescript for Backend Development Experience with other programming languages like Python, Java, C++ Business Proficiency in English is essential Meticulous attention to detail Proven ability to thrive in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment Startup mentality - understands the dedication it takes to thrive in a startup environment Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Business-level English required A strong history of delivering high-quality, high-impact results with minimal supervision Benefits: Comfortable working with frontend if required Desire to work on different features within our solution, and take a generalist role Possess the ability to familiarize yourself with our product quickly to generate new ideas, reflect on our existing features and think ahead Experienced with or passionate about guiding other developers Take on a proactive, hands-on approach Be a proactive, results-oriented professional who excels when challengedOur Culture:Quality: At our company, we let the quality of our product speak for itself.We are passionate about building beautiful software and always raising the bar on quality.Problem Solving: We foster innovation and novel approaches to problem solving, while keeping user needs at front of mind.
