**Job Summary:**We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team.
The ideal candidate will assist healthcare professionals in providing quality patient care and perform administrative and clinical tasks in a medical office setting.
**Qualifications:**- High school diploma or equivalent required- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or relevant certification- Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Proficiency in basic medical terminology and computer skills**Responsibilities:**- Greet and prepare patients for examinations and procedures- Assist healthcare providers with patient assessments, examinations, and treatment- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, and handling insurance forms- Prepare and administer medications as directed by healthcare providers- Ensure the cleanliness, sanitation, and maintenance of examination rooms and equipment**Additional Requirements:**- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work- Willingness to adhere to confidentiality and ethical standards- Ability to demonstrate empathy and compassion towards patients- Maintain current knowledge of medical assisting practices and regulations
