This is a remarkable opportunity to play a pivotal role in advancing the university's mission of creating knowledge, fostering academic excellence, and developing leaders who can meet the challenges of our time.Position Number: S80240This position is a Grade: 13 - 40 with an approximate salary range of $134,320-$163,430 and is subject to change based on experience, skills and qualifications.As The AVP, Your Key Responsibilities Will IncludeOverseeing fundraising programs for Lehigh's College of Health, College of Education, University Research Centers & Institutes, Vice Provost Initiatives, and corporate, foundation, and non-profit engagementLeading and partnering with teams to engage and solicit prospects, maximizing philanthropy and meeting strategic objectivesDriving the strategic fundraising direction of key university priorities, including educational innovation, sponsored research, and corporate and non-profit partnershipsDeveloping, executing, and evaluating annual plans to maximize donor philanthropy, sponsored research, and other engagement initiativesProviding mentorship, fostering professional development, and creating a collaborative, creative, and ambitious team environmentQualificationsBachelor's Degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience; Master's Degree preferredEight or more years of related work experienceProven ability to successfully cultivate, solicit, and close six and seven figure giftsProven leadership and strategic thinking abilities in a complex fundraising environmentDemonstrated success in securing major gifts and developing long-term philanthropic partnershipsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to align resources effectivelyExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse stakeholder groupsLehigh University offers a vibrant and inclusive campus community, a commitment to excellence, and a competitive benefits package that includes generous retirement contributions, tuition remission, and excellent health and wellness programs.
