OverviewJoin to apply for the Sr.Specialist Accounting role at adidas.Direct message the job poster from adidas.Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization: Secures financial operations by monitoring and approving financial processing, reporting; ensures that accounting records and documentation comply with the requirements of the Group Finance Manual.Responsibilities: Meets accounting financial standards by monitoring expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions.Maintains financial security by adhering to internal controls.Verifies accuracy of data and data processing of accounting related information.Prepares monthly intercompany reconciliation.Supports accounting procedures, ensuring month and year-end balance correctly reflect the economic-financial reality of the company.Assists internal and external auditors.Maintains the ERP system and its interfaces with other applications.Supports creation of financial reports according to IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and local GAAP.Provides training to workers in both orally and writing form on accounting systems, principles and practices.Key Relationships: Local finance, Local FP&A, Local Tax, LAM Regional Accounting.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related fields.Advanced or fluent English (regional and global communication).Experience with external auditing.Experience in inventory reporting (products or retail).SAP and Excel skills.Solid knowledge of financial processes and accounting principles.Mid-Senior level.Employment type: Full-time.Job function: Accounting / Auditing and Finance.Industries: Sporting Goods.#J-*****-Ljbffr
