Two 24-month post-doctoral fellowships in AI applied to industry are available in a research project with large enterprises, under the research line "Autonomous Systems, Robotics, and Machine Tools" of the IASMIN Platform, one of the Applied Research Centers in Artificial Intelligence (ARC-AI) that received support from FAPESP, the São Paulo Research Foundation, after being selected by a Call for Proposals jointly organized by FAPESP, MCTI (the Brazilian Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation) and (the Brazilian Internet Steering Committee).
The work will be carried out in the Departmentof Control and Automation Engineering(DECA) at the São Paulo State University (UNESP)in its Sorocaba Campus, Brazil.
Open to Brazilian and international candidates.
Stipend: R$ 12,570.00 per month plus research contingency fund equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship.
FAPESP offers relocation support for researchers outside the host city.
Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree: Computer Science or Computer Engineering;

• PhD: Computer Science orComputer Electrical Control and Automation Engineering, or related fields, obtained within the last 7 years;

• Knowledge of deep learning, computer vision, and large language models (LLM), with relevant scientific publications

• Experience in Robotics and/or Industrial Process Control, and Natural Language Processing (NLP);

• Demonstrated ability in scientific manuscript preparation, leadership, project coordination, teamwork, and communication.

• 2 letters of recommendation (maximum of2 pages);
