Responsibilities
Oversee all post-award administration duties for assigned departments, including contract and grant processing, monitoring, and closure
Advise departments on grant management, financial controls, and policies for effective operation of externally funded research
Serve as a liaison for stakeholders in grants, including other offices and third-party partners
Prepare financial documents and reports for awarded funds, ensuring compliance with the terms and conditions of grants
Develop best management practices and tools for tracking post-award documentation deadlines
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
6+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong knowledge of funding policies, regulations, and procedures
Expertise in Uniform Guidance and grant policies specific to the employer
Exceptional communication skills for liaising with various stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in financial reporting and budget management within a higher education or research environment
Familiarity with SAP Concur and SIMBA systems for financial processing
Proven ability to manage multiple grants and compliance requirements effectively
Strong analytical skills to prepare grant projections and financial documents
