Job Opportunity: Lead Real-Time Data Systems Infrastructure EngineerWe are seeking a seasoned expert to spearhead the maintenance and enhancement of real-time data systems powering one of the world's leading investment banks.The selected candidate will oversee alert and incident management, problem resolution, and system improvements to ensure uptime and performance for global trading and data services.The ideal candidate will be responsible for resolving data quality issues through root cause analysis and managing internal and external vendors to resolve these issues.Additionally, they will support on-call activities, incident management, problem and change management, ensuring optimal accuracy and timeliness of data in real-time while implementing monitoring tools to detect data issues.Resolving Data Quality Issues: Identify and address data quality issues through root cause analysis, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve these issues.Support On-Call Activities: Participate in on-call rotations, respond to incidents, and manage problem resolution and change management processes.System Improvements: Implement monitoring tools to detect data issues and ensure timely resolutions, thereby maintaining high-quality data services.We require a highly skilled professional with a minimum of 7 years of experience in infrastructure, systems, or production support roles.The ideal candidate should possess expertise in Linux System Administration, have experience with Windows operating systems, and exhibit proficiency in scripting languages (Bash and/or Python preferred).Strong networking and connectivity skills, including multicast, routing, switches, and TCP/IP, are also essential.This is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual to join our team and contribute to the delivery of innovative solutions that drive business growth and success.If you are passionate about real-time data systems infrastructure and possess the necessary skills and experience, we encourage you to apply for this challenging and rewarding role.
