Sword Health is on a mission to free two billion people from pain.With 67% of members achieving a pain-free life and a 70% reduction in surgery intent, at Sword, we are using AI Care to change lives, and save millions for our 25,000+ enterprise clients across three continents.Today, we hold the majority of industry patents, win 70% of competitive evaluations, and have raised more than $400 million from top venture firms like Founders Fund, Sapphire Ventures, General Catalyst, and Khosla Ventures.Recognized as a Forbes Best Startup Employer in ****, this award highlights our focus on being a destination for the best and brightest talent.Not only have we experienced unprecedented growth since our market debut in ****, but we've also created a remarkable mission and value-driven environment that is loved by our growing team.With a recent valuation of $4 billion, we are in a phase of hyper growth and expansion, and we're looking for individuals with passion, commitment, and energy to help us scale our global impact.Joining Sword means committing to a set of core values, chief amongst them to "do it for the patients" every day, and to always "deliver more than expected" on behalf of our members and clients.This is an opportunity for you to make a significant difference on a massive scale as you work alongside and growing) talented colleagues, spanning three continents.Your charge?To help us build a pain-free world, powered by AI, enhanced by people — accessible to all.The Associate General Manager (AGM) is a key leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, team performance, and strategic execution within the organization.Working closely with the General Manager, the AGM will oversee daily business functions, optimize workflows, and ensure cross-functional collaboration to meet company objectives.This role requires a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can balance both strategic initiatives and hands-on management.What you'll be doing:Operational Leadership: Work alongside the General Manager to oversee day-to-day business operations, ensuring smooth execution across departments while maintaining a focus on operational efficiency and productivity;Strategic Planning Support: Collaborate with the General Manager on identifying priorities and executing business strategies to allow us to reach our targets.Assist in setting clear objectives and ensuring they are met by cross-functional teams;Project Leadership: Take ownership of key projects, ensuring that timelines, resources, and milestones are met;Process Optimization: Identify operational inefficiencies and work with team members to streamline processes, improve workflows, and enhance productivity.Implement best practices and monitor performance improvements;Team Performance Monitoring: Track departmental performance against established KPIs, and provide actionable feedback to ensure teams meet or exceed goals;Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Address operational challenges as they arise by evaluating the situation and implementing appropriate solutions.Provide timely and effective resolutions to ensure business continuity;Leadership During Transitions: Act as a leader during transitions, such as reorganizations or changes in company direction.Help manage change within the organization and keep teams focused and motivated;Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner with various department heads to ensure alignment and successful execution of company initiatives.Promote interdepartmental communication to facilitate collaboration and address operational challenges;Staff Management and Development: Promote a metrics-driven culture, with the development of consistent approaches to setting performance targets, forecasting, and ongoing performance improvement;
