We are seeking a proactive and skilled Observability Monitoring Engineer to support and evolve our enterprise monitoring ecosystem.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with a diverse portfolio of observability tools including Grafana OSS/Enterprise, GEM/Mimir, Zabbix, and Microsoft SCOM.This role involves maintaining monitoring platforms, optimizing data ingestion pipelines, and ensuring high system availability and performance visibility across hybrid environments.Key Responsibilities:Administer and maintain observability platforms (Grafana, GEM/Mimir, Zabbix, SCOM).Design and manage telemetry data ingestion pipelines for scalable and reliable monitoring.Develop and tune dashboards, alerts, and management packs to ensure actionable insights.Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to integrate monitoring solutions.Perform health checks, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data accuracy across tools.Support users with onboarding, configuration, and troubleshooting of monitoring tools.Common Activities:Monitoring & Alerting:Configure and manage alert rules, thresholds, and escalation workflows across platforms.Dashboard Development:Build and maintain Grafana dashboards tailored to various stakeholder needs.Data Pipeline Management:Implement and optimize ingestion flows using Prometheus, Mimir, and other telemetry sources.Tool Integration:Ensure seamless integration between observability tools and enterprise systems.User Enablement:Provide training and support for internal teams using observability platforms.Required Qualifications:Advanced English.Experience in observability or infrastructure monitoring roles.Proficiency with Grafana (OSS/Enterprise), GEM/Mimir, Zabbix, and SCOM.Strong understanding of telemetry data formats (Prometheus, Open Telemetry, etc.).Experience with data ingestion pipelines and time-series databases.Familiarity with scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation and reporting.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in large-scale enterprise IT environments.Knowledge of cloud-native monitoring practices and tools.Exposure to companion tools such as Loki, Tempo, or ELK stack.Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts.
