Sustainable Transportation Manager, Reverse & Sustainable TransportationJoin Amazon as a Sustainable Transportation Manager, Reverse & Sustainable Transportation.Amazon's Transportation Team is seeking a Sustainable Transportation Manager to collaborate with business functions to develop a comprehensive program supporting our Climate Pledge to reach net-zero carbon emissions by 2040.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and monitor carbon emissions across transportation networks and facilities.Develop and implement cross-functional emission reduction strategies for OTR and UTR to achieve our 2040 net-zero goal.Create incentive programs for third-party carriers adopting low- or zero-emission vehicles.Drive data-driven improvements to meet environmental and business objectives.Develop community engagement initiatives aligned with transportation operations.A Day in the LifeData Analysis & MonitoringAnalyze emissions data from multiple sources.Track trends and report progress toward emission reduction goals.Strategy Development & ImplementationCollaborate to design and evaluate emission reduction initiatives.Develop roadmaps for approved strategies and monitor effectiveness.Carrier Program ManagementManage incentive programs for third-party carriers.Review applications, ensure compliance, and track adoption of eco-friendly vehicles.Stakeholder EngagementPresent updates to leadership and participate in industry forums.Research & InnovationStay updated on trends and emerging technologies in sustainable transportation.About The TeamThe Sustainable Transportation & Reverse Operations (STRO) team in Brazil is dedicated to establishing reverse logistics operations with a focus on sustainability and operational excellence.
