Sustainable Transportation Manager, Reverse & Sustainable Transportation Join Amazon as a Sustainable Transportation Manager, Reverse & Sustainable Transportation . Amazon's Transportation Team is seeking a Sustainable Transportation Manager to collaborate with business functions to develop a comprehensive program supporting our Climate Pledge to reach net-zero carbon emissions by 2040. Key Responsibilities Analyze and monitor carbon emissions across transportation networks and facilities. Develop and implement cross-functional emission reduction strategies for OTR and UTR to achieve our 2040 net-zero goal. Create incentive programs for third-party carriers adopting low- or zero-emission vehicles. Drive data-driven improvements to meet environmental and business objectives. Develop community engagement initiatives aligned with transportation operations. A Day in the Life Data Analysis & Monitoring Analyze emissions data from multiple sources. Track trends and report progress toward emission reduction goals. Strategy Development & Implementation Collaborate to design and evaluate emission reduction initiatives. Develop roadmaps for approved strategies and monitor effectiveness. Carrier Program Management Manage incentive programs for third-party carriers. Review applications, ensure compliance, and track adoption of eco-friendly vehicles. Stakeholder Engagement Present updates to leadership and participate in industry forums. Research & Innovation Stay updated on trends and emerging technologies in sustainable transportation. About The Team The Sustainable Transportation & Reverse Operations (STRO) team in Brazil is dedicated to establishing reverse logistics operations with a focus on sustainability and operational excellence.
