As a Manufacturing Manager, you will be challenged to build a world class operations management process for the unit.
Demonstrating accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives.
- Manage an operation, business, unit, or part of a production facility in order to reach defined targets in quality, cost, delivery, safety and lean.
- Live and act within the company behaviors.
Be a change agent in the area where he/she leads.
- Remove all roadblocks that prevent the team them having a safe & productive work day.
Be seen as someone who supports and not the "boss" in the old-fashioned way.
- Influence all support areas towards the common goal.

- Say/do ratio in critical/hot topics related to HSE, quality and customer operation demands.
- Be an advocacte of the "Stop Work" & "Stop the Line" culture.
- Ensure continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards.
- Engage the team in a continuous engagement mindset and strive for operational excellence.
- Manage project execution hours plan against plan.
Work on topics that most impact project margins.
- Establish KPI's and follow up rhythms related to the main targets (SQDCL).
- Act as HSE, quality and productivity improvement agent, with full lean and lesson learned engagement.
Also work with benchmarking processes to bring best practices to execution.
- Be responsible to define necessary and organized execution area, considering the lean concepts.
Engage the lean team within the line improvement plans.
Work closely with the planning team to improve the overall planning of the shop with the objective to have complete management of all related execution activities like test tooling, packing material, IE support activities, and others.
**Fuel your passion**
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a bachelor's degree in engineering (welding engineering preferred)
- Have intermediate English skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Knowledge of Oracle
- Demonstrate experience in the O&G sector and management in manufacturing operations.
- Demonstrate experience in welding processes with wellhead systems
- Demonstrate experience with Lean project development.
- Be a natural communicator, able to share ideas clearly and concisely, both in writing and verbally
- Demonstrate interpersonal and people leadership skills with the ability to influence a team, clients and others
- Demonstrate the ability to successfully manage projects and lead cross-functional teams to deliver results
- Be a motivated self-starter, proactively taking the initiative to lead and solve problems.
