Thank you for your interest in joining Alcazar Energy Each role at our company offers the chance to make a tangible impact on the global shift towards sustainable energy.As you consider applying, reflect on how your unique skills, passion, and vision align with our mission to innovate and energize the world responsibly.ResponsibilitiesEnsure that project site performance meets the required specifications, stays on schedule, adheres to contracts pricing and requirements, and follows company financial guidelinesEnsure compliance of project construction activities with Health, Safety & Environmental RegulationsAnalyse, manage and mitigate project delivery risksOversee the performance on site, management of contractors involved and coordination with the rest of project teamReview the report on progress prepared by acethe Site Engineers and Owner's EngineerReview and validate the Contractor's summary progress reports on construction and installation performance.Coordinate and support to resolve any issues or problems related to logistics, heavy-lift operations, etc. that may have potential detrimental impacts of project progress as directed by the Project Execution ManagerAttend key progress, coordination and interface meetings with the contractors and owner's engineer, report to Project Manager and Senior Management TeamResponsible for overseeing the contractors' compliance with construction and erection activities specifications and standards, including civil works, electrical works and the installation of wind turbinesResponsible for overseeing the contractors' compliance with construction specifications, technical standards, local regulations and Quality Management SystemSupport the Site Engineers as needed to review and prepare technical questions on the tender offer (support from the Engineering Team)Ensure availability of programme indicating key environmental, planning, procurement, design, construction, commissioning and completion milestonesOversee handover to O&M phase, ensuring all punch list items are completed and full site compliance is achievedManage resolution of any site technical matters on the projects that are escalated up from the Site EngineersEnsure timely preparation, collection and handover of all as-built documentation, O&M manuals, commissioning certificates and record drawingsSupport the Project Manager in managing contractual claims, variations and change ordersContribute to the resolution of environmental, permitting and social issues at site level, coordinating when required with landowners, local communities, and authoritiesQualificationDegree in relevant engineering discipline;preferably Civil or ElectricalNebosh General Certificate or Project Management qualification is desirableExperience15 years of experience in managing site works for renewables or construction projects such as roads, overhead lines, substations and infrastructure;5 of which at Construction Management levelExperience with managing international wind project.Experience in Balkans countries is desirableJob Specific SkillsAbility to work with a high degree of autonomy and able to work with a team of project manager, support engineer and several contractorsAbility to plan and see the 'big picture'Strong communication abilities and fluency in English are required, while knowledge of Montenegrin is an added advantage.Excellent people management skillsCompetent in conflict and crisis management –collaborative approach to solving issues with the community, contractors, colleaguesUnderstanding of quality assurance processesHealth, safety and environmental legislation applicable to construction projectsPC knowledge of Microsoft applicationsKnowledge of specification, design, maintenance, construction and commissioning of construction worksAwareness of regulatory issues impacting the businessProcurement processesExcellent negotiation skillsTeamwork and contractor management skillsProven ability to lead and work in a team and contractors' environmentWe appreciate your time in considering a career with Alcazar Energy.By joining our team, you're choosing to stand at the forefront of the renewable energy industry, contributing to projects that prioritize integrity, quality, and sustainability.As you share our commitment to making a difference, we look forward to potentially welcoming you aboard.
