We're looking for talented people from around the world with experience or interest in offshore environment and the drive to build strong, impactful careers.By joining our Production Technician Talent Pool , you'll gain visibility for future opportunities and connect with a company commited to inovation, safety, and performance.Explore the details below and apply today to secure your place in our Talent Pool for upcoming Production Technician roles.About Us: SBM Offshore is the world's deepwater ocean-infrastructure expert.Our work is already resulting in cleaner, more efficient energy production.is our promise to enable that into the future while at the same time using our expertise to support new and existing markets in the blue economy.It starts with Advancing our Core: continuing to advance the decarbonization of traditional energy production.While Pioneering More: helping to enable the energy transition and using our unique capabilities in ocean infrastructure to support more industries to grow sustainably.Sharing our experience for a better blue tomorrow.Reports To Production Supervisor Background The Production Technician is responsible for operating plant process and utility systems effectively and safely, always ensuring strict adherence to procedures.Compliance with GEMS and local regulatory requirements must be maintained in all aspects of work.The Production Technician is also responsible for executing maintenance and preservation tasks efficiently and safely to ensure the reliability and longevity of equipment.This role involves performing a variety of maintenance and preservation activities, including but not limited to cleaning, housekeeping, blasting, spraying/painting, isolation and reinstatement, greasing application, and the preservation of topside flanges and bolts.The technician is also responsible for ensuring that his supervisor is made aware of all activities according to procedure, especially when safety is an issue.The production technician will demonstrate exemplary safety awareness and technical competence in all aspects of maintenance and preservation work on and around the vessel.Authority The Production Technician is authorized to operate the process and utility systems safely and efficiently and help to prepare such plant for maintenance.Immediate Subordinates Subcontractors, Visitors, Vendors, external and unplanned or temporary services.Accountable For: Responsibilities
