Accountant Job DescriptionWe seek a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of our financial operations.The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting and managing accounting functions, journal entries, accruals, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and account reconciliations.They will also prepare sales tax and payroll, assist with financial and SOC audits, generate financial statements, and perform cash management, budgeting, and forecasting activities.The Accountant will work independently or as part of a team to prioritize, multitask, and problem-solve effectively.They will have the opportunity to grow and learn about the business and its software solutions.Conduct and manage accounting functions for a growing firmJournal entries, accruals, A/R, A/P, and account reconciliationsSales tax and payroll preparationFinancial and SOC audit assistanceFinancial statement generationCash management, budgeting, and forecasting activitiesThe ideal candidate will have excellent English verbal and written skills, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, and 4+ years of accounting experience.They will also have GAAP proficiency, experience with accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and other Microsoft Office Suite products.The Accountant will work in a flexible remote environment where mutual respect is key.Our team is supportive, highly talented, and encourages open communication.We offer a competitive salary range, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth and development.If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
