The OpportunityThe International Assignments team within the Global Mobility function manages the relocation, assignment, and immigration processes for our growing population of internationally mobile employees, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.We are searching for an International Assignments Partner who will be the main point of contact and case manager for our international assignees, our internal stakeholders and external vendors involved in the process.This professional works closely with the International Assignments Coordinators to manage assignments, together they form a team that is the spider-in-the-web within the lifecycle of an international assignment.The ideal candidate will have experience in Global Mobility, especially in case management and communicating with all stakeholders involved in the assignment process.Preferably, the candidate also has a tax background, or at least affinity and/or experience with expatriate taxation.We offer an exciting opportunity for a person with a passion for global mobility, who wants to take his or her career to the next level.How You ´ll Make An ImpactCentral point of contact for all stakeholders in the day-to-day management of short- and long-term international assignments.Working closely with the international assignment advisor and Coordinators and the rest of the team to ensure smooth execution of our International Assignments programManaging international assignments, acting as the single point of contact for the assignee and family to provide advice in the end-to-end management of their individual assignmentPartnering with external vendors to ensure that all services are provided timely and in a compliant matter, while ensuring a smooth relocation process for our assigneesParticipating in projects related to Global Mobility in general and International Assignments specificallyResponsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.Your BackgroundA bachelor's or master's Degree in a relevant field, which includes Business Administration, Tax or Law, as your basis and relevant work experience including managing employee relationshipsStrong knowledge of international assignment management, immigration, tax, and employment lawsTeam player with good organizational, planning and decision-making skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple tasks at the same time and able to adapt to changing business needs, while maintaining focus on delivering the results within tight deadlinesAble to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive informationA confident individual that can maintain relationships in the business at varying levels of seniority.Possesses excellent communication skills and can interact with people of different cultures and nationalities.Enjoys work that is complex and detailed in nature.Fluent in English.Spanish is highly desirable.Hitachi Energy is a global technology leader in electrification, powering a sustainable energy future through innovative power grid technologies with digital at the core.Over three billion people depend on our technologies to power their daily lives.With over a century in pioneering mission-critical technologies like high-voltage, transformers, automation, and power electronics, we are addressing the most urgent energy challenge of our time – balancing soaring electricity demand, while decarbonizing the power system.Headquartered in Switzerland, we employ over 50,000 people in 60 countries and generate revenues of around $16 billion USD.We welcome you to apply today.
