Eligible Location is BrazilA leading technology consulting firm seeks a skilled professional to maintain and enhance real-time data systems for a top global investment bank.As our ideal candidate, you will handle alert and incident management, problem resolution, and system improvements, ensuring uptime and performance for global trading and data services.We are looking for a highly skilled individual with expertise in Linux System Administration to join our team.You will be responsible for resolving Data quality issues, managing internal and external vendors to resolve Data issues, supporting on-call, incident management, problem, and change managements.Main Responsibilities:Resolving Data quality issues, including root cause analysis and managing internal and external vendors.Supporting on-call, incident management, problem, and change managements.Ensuring optimal accuracy and timeliness of Data on a real-time basis while implementing monitoring tools to detect data issues.Working closely with regional and global Market Data Infrastructure teams to share knowledge and experience.L2 Alert Management.Managing alerts that require knowledge for resolutions, creating and/or updating resolutions into knowledge base, run books, scripts, and ITRS rules where possible.Incident Management.Managing the lifecycle of incidents from identification to resolution, ensuring mitigation of business impact in the production environment.Change Management.Managing the process of making production changes to the ticker plant, including content, software changes/upgrades performed by vendors or internal teams.Others: Release Management, Event Management, User support, Reporting.Key Requirements:Minimum 7 years of experience in infrastructure, systems, or production support roles.Highly skilled in Linux System Administration.Experience in Windows operating systems.Scripting proficiency (Bash and/or Python preferred).Experience with networking and connectivity skills e.g., multicast, routing, switches, TCP/IP.Good communication and oral and written English skills is a must.Understanding of ITIL Foundation and IT Best practices.Prior experience in banking, investment, or other financial IT environments is advantageous.Nice-to-Have Skills:Experience with ITRS Geneos, EXEGY (Wombat/Vela), or Market Data platforms (Refinitiv TREP/RTDS, Bloomberg).Familiarity with AWS ECS, AWS VPC, Google Cloud.Experience with GitHub/GitLab and automation pipelines.What We Offer:A modern, dynamic, and future-oriented environment within a top global institution.Flexible working arrangements – fully remote or hybrid options.Continuous learning and certification opportunities.Competitive salary and benefits package.Long-term career prospects with international exposure.Inclusive, multicultural team with regular knowledge-sharing and team events.
