Job Opportunity: Software Development ExpertThis position offers a unique opportunity to work on various software projects, focusing on enhancing customer experience.Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Software Development Expert to join our team.The ideal candidate will have expertise in Back End and Front End development, with a strong understanding of server-side rendering, asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and RESTful APIs.The successful candidate will be responsible for:Developing and maintaining modular frontend web and mobile applications, ensuring high performance, maintainability, and testability;Participating in the development and updating of shared component libraries to enable rapid iteration and consistent development practices;Mentoring and coaching mid-level and junior developers, fostering a sense of ownership, accountability, and continuous learning;Cultivating a positive team atmosphere that encourages open communication, creative problem-solving, and innovative thinking;Translating functional requirements into responsive components and pages with a mobile-first mentality, championing accessibility best practices;Monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving production issues, ensuring the stability and reliability of applications;Contributing to code reviews and automated testing efforts, ensuring code quality and meeting coverage targets;Participating in an on-call rotation with the entire digital and engineering organizations, including Directors and members of the Product team.About the Project:This specific project focuses on enhancing and adding new features to the Total Wine website.Our team works on rewards systems and preference centers (account information, opt-in, etc.).We also have some work planned out for integrating promotion engineering.The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, backend engineers, test automation engineers, UX designers, and Scrum Masters, to continuously enhance customer experience.Requirements:A bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Passion for staying current with the latest software tools and methodologies.Intellectual curiosity and strong problem-solving skills.
