This role is ideal for a passionate developer with a foundation in modern web development and a strong desire to grow their expertise in user interface design, cloud services, and software engineering practices.Front-End FocusWorking closely with UX designers and product managers, this candidate will help translate user experience designs into functional and responsive UI components.
A strong interest in usability, visual consistency, and iterative improvement is key.
Prior experience with Angular or similar frameworks is an asset, and enthusiasm for learning and implementing new technologies is expected.Back-End FocusOn the server side, the candidate will collaborate with senior developers and DevOps engineers to build and maintain scalable backend services.
These services are deployed using modern cloud-native architectures and are expected to be secure, efficient, and resilient.
This is a learning opportunity to become familiar with serverless functions, container-based services, and microservice patterns.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement web features using Angular 19+ and TypescriptContribute to backend services using RESTful APIsParticipate in team-based design discussions and code reviewsAssist with writing automated unit and end-to-end testsContribute to documentation (technical design, implementation notes)Learn and work within CI/CD pipelines and Agile software development (Scrum or Kanban)Collaborate across teams with product managers, QA, and DevOpsEmbrace mentorship from senior engineers to continuously grow technical skillsEducation and Experience RequirementsPreferred Qualifications:A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field2–4 years of professional experience in software development (co-op/internship experience may be considered)Hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, and at least one modern front-end framework (Angular, React, Vue, etc.)Exposure to back-end development using or similar server-side languagesFamiliarity with Git and collaborative version control workflowsExposure to Agile development methodologies and CI/CD conceptsNice-to-Have Skills:Experience with REST API integrationBasic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or serverless architectureKnowledge of unit testing frameworks and tools (Jest, Jasmine, etc.)Awareness of UI/UX principles and responsive designThis role is a strong fit for developers looking to take the next step in their career, expanding their knowledge across the full web stack while contributing to impactful product features.
