**About Our Tax Team**Temu's tax department plays a vital role in ensuring compliance with both local and international tax laws, while continually optimizing the company's tax position.The Tax Manager will oversee the management of direct and indirect taxes, as well as tax compliance and planning, to ensure adherence to current legislation and optimal tax burden.Responsibilities include the timely and accurate preparation and filing of all tax returns (direct and indirect taxes), including PIS/COFINS, ICMS, ISS, IRPJ/CSLL, etc.Monitoring tax compliance processes and collaborating closely with internal accounting and finance teams to guarantee that tax obligations are met.Managing and responding to federal, state, and municipal tax audits, including coordinating documentation and liaising with auditors and tax authorities.Analyzing changes in Brazilian tax legislation and assessing potential business impacts, providing recommendations for compliance.**Desired Skills and Qualifications**Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Law.Advanced degree or CPA certification preferred.Significant experience in direct and indirect taxes, tax compliance, and tax planning;Knowledge in Transfer Pricing and attendance to external audits;Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills with different stakeholders;**Language Requirements**Fluent in Portuguese (native proficiency).Fluent in English (written & spoken) – must liaise with global teams.**Equal Employment Statement**At Temu, we are committed to building a diverse community and encourage all qualified individuals to apply.We strive to provide a work environment free from discrimination and harassment, where all employees are treated with respect and dignity.
