You'd love the opportunity to work with an engineering team that includes data scientists, algorithm experts, back-end, and front-end engineers to expand your knowledge.About the PositionAs a JavaScript engineer focused on integrations, you'll be helping our customers improve the search experiences of their websites and mobile apps by integrating with our services. Your specific responsibilities will include:Developing and testing new features for our open source UI and REST client librariesDesigning and deploying interactive dashboards and alerts for monitoring customer integrationsEngaging with clients to address technical inquiries regarding our servicesAssisting customers in integrating our JavaScript UI and REST client libraries into their existing codebasesValidating customer data to ensure the accuracy and quality of results generated by our servicesStaying informed about our products and services to provide effective support and aid in triaging issuesCollaborating with other teams to prioritize and address customer requirements and needsAbout UsConstructor powers product search and discovery for some of the largest retailers in the world, like Sephora and Petco. We believe that empowering everyone in a company to do what they think is best can lead to great things.RequirementsA minimum of two years professional and / or academic experience in software engineeringExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExperience with front end optimization techniques, DOM manipulation / traversing, and using browser debugging toolsExperience working with server side JavaScript through Node.js and it's build processesExperience with popular modern front-end frameworks like React / Redux and jQueryExperience with CSS and an eye for user experienceNice to have: experience with Java, .NET, Python, Swift (iOS) or Kotlin (Android)Able to pick up new technologies and design patterns quickly and love learning themEnjoys interacting with customers and solving new problems daily as well as working closely with internal teamsAble to work between 10 am and 2 pm Eastern TimeBenefits???
