You'll work with tools like Elasticsearch, Spring Framework, Kafka, and APIs in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.Key Responsibilities:Design, build, and maintain search and data processing systems using Elastic, Spring, Kafka, and APIs.Improve performance and scalability of our infrastructure to support growing data and user activity.Work with teams to define and deliver new product features.Ensure data is properly indexed and optimized for fast, accurate search.Monitor and troubleshoot system performance to keep systems reliable and available.Participate in code reviews and follow high coding standards.Keep up with industry trends and new technologies.Translate business needs into technical requirements.Support junior team members and help guide their growth.RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you will need:8-10 years of experience in software engineering.Strong experience with Elasticsearch and search technologies.Proficient in Java and Java batch processing.Hands-on experience with Kafka and distributed messaging systems.Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software design.Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Experience with CI/CD, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and microservices.Nice to HaveIf you also have experience with:Other search engines and NoSQL databases.
Coordinating small teams.Machine learning or data analytics.
Agile/Scrum practices.
