This position will lead the finance function of Brazil as it is part of the Global Accounting & Control organization, and the position responsibilities include:Manage and lead the Accounting and Controlling function, including the implementation of consistent and effective business processes that enhance the Share Service CentersProvide primary coordination for activities and alignment between Finance, Accounting and Controllership, Tax, Treasury, SSC, AP, AR and other areasProvide financial support to the Business Finance and OPS Finance through advices and timely accurate reporting,Lead and manage all aspects associated with Accounting, Auditing and Controllership management compliance with related policies and procedures.Ensure timely compliance with statutory and tax requirements as well as corporate policies and procedures.Lead the Balance Sheet and P& L reviews been owner of all processes, responding for variances and mitigating risks when they are identified.Maintain an appropriate internal control environment and Lead the SOX controls ensuring that everything is working according to policies and procedures.Team development prepare a succession plan SCOPEManagement of general accounting processes including historical financial reportingManage the internal control environment including SOX compliance as well as point of contact for internal and external audits.Coordinate with Tax Team the fiscal and taxes audits.Manage treasury including bank relationships in accordance with global policies and guidelines.Provide support for general legal, administrative, and statutory requirements.REQUIREMENTSNeed to be hands on and if necessary, go into details until we understand what is happening.Certified Public accountant7-10 years' experience leading finance functionsOver 5 years experience handling Accounting in BrazilStrong knowledge of Brazilian fiscal books and tax reporting requirements including the TAX OPINION, Data Stage and others.Experience handling SOX requirements.Experience in working with SAP and/or another ERP systemFamiliarity with a shared service environment is a plus.
