Robotics Specialist

Role DescriptionThis is a contract role for a Roboticist.The Roboticist will be responsible for the programming, testing, and commissioning of robotic systems.The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with robotic programming platforms, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work in fast-paced project environments.Key responsibilitiesProgram, test, and commission industrial robots (FANUC, ABB, KUKA, Yaskawa, UR, etc.);Develop robotic paths for applications such as welding, material handling, assembly, painting, or machine tending;Integrate robots with PLCs, vision systems, conveyors, and end-of-arm tooling;Perform on-site debugging, system optimization, and troubleshooting;Ensure compliance with safety standards during robot integration and operation;Provide technical support during system installation and startup at customer sites;Create and maintain documentation for robot programs and system configurations;Qualifications2+ years of hands-on experience programming and commissioningrobotic systems;Familiarity with at least one major robot platform (FANUC, ABB, KUKA, Yaskawa/Motoman, Universal Robots, etc.);Knowledge of robotic path planning, calibration, and cycle time optimization;Experience integrating robots with PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and machine vision systems;Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawingsExperience with ESTUN and TURIN robots is a plus
