Join us in reshaping technology's role to foster meaningful, real-world connections.About The Right Team MemberThe Business Intelligence Analyst II role will be responsible for the development of the most ideal data environment for the organization to conduct analytical insight, productional business operations, and make informed business decisions.
This role would own the road-mapping and stakeholder management of a specific business vertical, working directly with stakeholders to understand, prioritize, communicate, and execute business requests, including translating business requests into technical requirements.
Working closely with other members of the Business Intelligence team and stakeholders across the organization they will maintain ETL pipelines, build complex data models, produce impactful reports/dashboards, and consult on business problems using first-hand expertise.
This role specifically would focus on supporting our Payments teams.About the roleCollaborate with stakeholders and sometimes lead projects and roadmaps to improve business operations and systems utilizing institutional, technological, and analytical expertiseConsult with management to understand current and future business goals and strategies to ensure that business data ecosystem, enterprise reporting, and analyses are alignedOwn the prioritization and execution of the Payments BI roadmapUtilize BI tools and work with Data Analytics to create and manage reports, dashboards, and data marts that are critical for the centralization of business metrics and KPIsWork closely with business to align on business logic to design, create, and operationalize business logic into source of truth data models in Enterprise Data Warehouse and surface them through self-service BI toolsBuild out and maintain data models to provide business critical information to various functions across the companySkills & experienceBA/BS Degree, in a quantitative field preferredExperience in a similar role, within a high growth environment preferred in Business Intelligence or similar role that involves data modeling and/or SQL-based data transformation and analyticsAdvanced proficiency in SQLProficiency in a BI tool (Looker, Tableau, Power BI),Experience in Data ModelingGreat to have experience: Working specifically in an Agile environment for road-mapping and sprint planning / managementGreat to have skills: Proficiency in ETL, Snowflake, Github, and dbt.Ability to present data in a simple, clean, concise visual and written mannerMust have a strong understanding of business-side implications of work; needs to keep up with what's going on with the business, feel comfortable with collaborating with business stakeholders at all levels of seniority to understand their data needsExperience developing data models and databases at a nascent or rapidly scaling businessStrong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and highly organized Impeccable attention to detail and accuracyUnderstanding and knowledge of SaaS industry business metrics and strategyUnderstanding of Payments functions and key business metricsMust be business-centric, data-oriented, analytically minded and results drivenMust be able to effectively plan and manage time and responsibilities autonomouslyMust be able to manage and influence a project end to endStrong technical aptitude and demonstrated ability to quickly evaluate and learn new technologiesAdvanced critical thinking skills to scope and frame problemsHave we piqued your curiosity?
