Equity Derivatives and Commodities ProfessionalThis role requires a professional to support the validation of Commodities Asset class onboarding to an Equity Derivatives Trading desk.
The ideal candidate should have experience in capital markets, preferably in Commodities and/or Equity Derivatives.The selected individual will have the benefit of working with an established team, fully involved in project initiation through to implementation.
Responsibilities include resolving daily issues related to functional, valuation, and pricing on both FO and Equity Derivatives desks.Key responsibilities also involve working closely with EQD Desk Traders, amending pre-trade rules, eTradePad, simulations, and resolving requests or issues with P&L, Market Data, and booking.
Additionally, the professional will analyze, formulate, propose, develop, and contribute to overall solutions as per PROD Support deliverables.Liaising with technical teams is necessary for resolving FO-related issues and enhancements.
Managing day-to-day assigned project tasks is crucial to complete various FO deliverables, including Yield Curve issue resolution and validation, curve assignments, new curve creation, and continuous follow-up of new Market regulations/practices globally.Testing for assigned deliverables and participating in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT) are also essential duties.
When required, developing FO Business requirements per given stream and according to Project needs is expected.Strong product knowledge in EQD, COM, and very strong understanding of FX, IRD business, P&L concept, Market Data, Curve structure, Simulations, and Trade Life Cycle are required.
Additionally, 5+ years experience with Murex FO functionalities, 4+ years experience in financial markets role, SQL proficiency, strong personality, logical and analytical skills, detailed-oriented, quick learner, self-starter, good verbal and written communication skills, and strong organization skills are essential qualifications.
