We are looking for an experienced Senior Linux Engineer to join our team.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux infrastructure and be able to maintain and enhance real-time data systems.They will work closely with other teams to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of data, and will be responsible for resolving data quality issues and managing internal and external vendors.Root cause analysis and issue resolutionSupport on-call, incident management, problem, and change managementMaintaining optimal accuracy and timeliness of data on a real-time basisCollaboration with regional and global Market Data Infrastructure teamsL2 alert management, creating and/or updating resolutions into knowledge base, run books, scripts, and ITRS rulesIncident management, from identification to resolution, ensuring mitigation of business impactChange management, production changes, mandatory updates, content, software changes/upgradesKey Responsibilities:Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Linux operating system, familiarity with monitoring toolsProblem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutionsCommunication Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to collaborate with cross-functional teamsLeadership Skills: Strong leadership skills, ability to mentor junior team members
