To elevate the backend landscape, we seek a skilled professional to architect and maintain scalable infrastructure.The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, values clean code, and is eager to integrate AI tools.The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build robust APIs (GraphQL/OpenAPI) for mobile and web applications, design efficient Ruby on Rails code, and explore AI integration opportunities.Key Responsibilities:Maintain and optimize data pipelinesBuild and maintain APIs using GraphQL/OpenAPICollaborate on architecture decisions and scaling infrastructureIdentify performance bottlenecks, bugs, and inefficienciesQualifications:5+ years of experience in backend API development using Ruby on RailsStrong experience in full-stack developmentProficiency with GraphQL, OpenAPI, and RESTful architecturesAdvanced knowledge of Ruby 3, Rails 7, and PostgreSQL/MySQLBonus Points For:Previous experience integrating AI/ML models into consumer-facing productsContributions to open-source projects or developer communitiesA suitable candidate believes in clean code, sees AI as a tool to amplify great engineering, and loves collaborating with product, design, and marketing teams.
