Senior Accountant, Revenue

About the teamWe are a team of fun and skilled accounting and finance professionals within the Controller organization who own Revenue accounting, as well as assist in implementation of financial and billing processes related to new products and revenue streams.
We work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment and work directly with teams throughout the organization, including Financial Reporting, Technical Accounting, Tax, FP&A, Billing and Collections, IT / Engineering, and Sales and Operations teams across various product lines.About the roleWe are looking for a highly motivated, hands-on, and results driven Senior Revenue Accountant to join our Revenue Accounting team.
This role will support the team with the implementation and monitoring of revenue recognition for new products, as well as responsibility to prepare certain monthly close tasks.
The ideal candidate for this position is motivated, diligent, and:Has an ability to get into the details and participate in multiple sophisticated projects at onceCan work well independently and with cross-functional stakeholdersHas the interest and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentYou Will Get ToBuild accounting and internal control processes for new and evolving aspects of the business, including new revenue products, while ensuring SOX readinessWork closely with IT and Revenue Product owners to provide mentorship on Revenue Accounting needs for accurate implementation of new products and offeringsCollaborate with Technical Accounting in gathering and vetting of revenue accounting requirements and ensure appropriate solutions are crafted and implementedAssist with the month-end close process, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial results analysesServe as a team lead on new revenue accounting topics to drive appropriate accounting determination and reporting as well as facilitate communication and alignment with other teamsDrive process improvement projects to streamline and automate manual workflowsManage open accounting issues/questions to support project planning and deliveryEnsure risks are accurately mitigated and adequate controls are implementedThis role has been categorized as a Remote position.

The standard base pay range for this role varies by location and may not be applicable to other locations.
In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location.
