Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Linux systems administrator to join our team.As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our Linux-based systems.Your primary focus will be on ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems, as well as providing excellent customer service to our stakeholders.You will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure that our systems meet the evolving needs of our business.Key Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain Linux-based systems, including servers, storage, and networking components.Ensure the security, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.Develop and implement scripts, tools, and automation processes to improve system efficiency and reduce downtime.Collaborate with our development team to resolve technical issues and improve system functionality.Provide exceptional customer service to our stakeholders, including prompt response to support requests and proactive communication of system status and changes.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Minimum 7 years of experience in Linux system administration, with a strong background in Linux distributions such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Ubuntu, and CentOS.Excellent knowledge of Linux file systems, permissions, and access control lists.Strong understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and NFS.Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and Perl.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with cloud computing platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker.Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, Puppet, and Ansible.Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.What We Offer:A competitive salary and benefits package.Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.A collaborative and dynamic work environment.The chance to work on challenging projects and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.
