Position Overview
Design, build, and optimize semantic data models in Power BI to support self-service analytics and enterprise reporting.
Develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI dashboards, reports, and datasets, ensuring accuracy, usability, and performance.
Partner with data engineering teams to define and validate data pipelines in Databricks and ensure seamless integration with BI models.
Collaborate with multifunctional teams and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable BI solutions.
Drive the migration strategy from SQL Server + MicroStrategy to Databricks + Power BI, ensuring minimal disruption and high adoption.
Implement best practices in data governance, performance optimization, and security for BI assets.
Ensure the quality and integrity of data used for decision-making.
Identify and resolve data and dashboard performance issues.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize Power BI dashboards, reports, and datasets for self-service and enterprise use.
Collaborate with data engineering to define data pipelines in Databricks and ensure BI models remain in sync with source data.
Translate business requirements into scalable BI solutions and maintain documentation of BI assets.
Lead migration efforts from legacy tools to modern BI stack (Databricks + Power BI) with minimal disruption and high user adoption.
Apply data governance, performance tuning, and security best practices to BI assets.
Monitor and improve data quality and integrity used for decision-making.
Diagnose and resolve data and dashboard performance issues.
Skills and Qualifications
Consolidated experience with Data Viz.
Solid knowledge of SQL and manipulation of large volumes of data.
Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) methodologies and data integration tools.
Ability to analyse and interpret complex data to generate clear and understandable reports.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate results effectively.
Advanced English is essential.
Understanding of the entire business side.
Previous experience with Atlan and Report Certification
Experience with Databricks - Power BI integration
Experience with AI/BI Tooling such as Databricks Genie and Power BI Co Pilot
