OverviewAlloy Automation (YC W20) is the connectivity layer for companies building AI Agents.With our platform, companies can power their agents and products with 400+ ready-to-use connectors in minutes, not months.Our engineering team's goal is to deliver an incredible experience for our customers and users, trusted by global leaders including Amazon, Mastercard, and UPS.Here you'll do the best work of your life and have a massive impact.Tens of thousands of people rely on us for their day to day operations – you'll have a key role in shaping that experience.ResponsibilitiesBuild the best possible product that is performant, reliable, scalable and beautiful, working on diverse projects and collaborating with engineering teams across four countries (and growing)Solve complex problems and provide elegant solutions to our customers and app users which span across other engineers and product managersLearn new things and challenge yourself to architect and implement features for our MCP, Connectivity API and Embedded iPaaS productsBuild, debug and manage queues, schedule jobs, map data across different APIs and handle errors, and help solve big infrastructure and engineering challengesCreate infrastructure and internal tooling to handle extremely high transaction volume (thousands of executions per minute)Teach and learn from those around you, providing constructive feedback and taking on feedback to help you growParticipate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge across all of Alloy AutomationQualificationsOver 10 years of relevant software engineering experience, and building web applications at scale with Node, React, Typescript, JavaScript, AWS; ideally an expert with Redux, Mobx, class-based React and functional programming with ReactExperience with frontend performance optimization and ability to scale frontend with industry best practicesExperience building a complex platform that interfaces with hundreds of APIs; comfortable with big infrastructure and engineering challengesExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions; proficient in debugging and troubleshooting techniques in production systemsProficient in back-end development concepts, including server-side architecture, design patterns, APIs, databases, and authentication/authorization mechanismsExperience running production systems including deploying, monitoring, and debugging; optimizing code, enhancing performance, and improving system scalability and reliabilityUnderstanding of security in software development and knowledge of common security vulnerabilities and mitigation practicesEmployment InformationEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Engineering and Information TechnologyIndustries: Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain and StorageSeniority level: Not ApplicableReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Alloy Automation by 2xGreater CuritibaSenior Software Engineer (Remote Contractor, Brazil)Senior Full Stack Python/React Developer - Remote - Latin AmericaSenior Windows C++ Developer - Remote - Latin AmericaSenior Backend Haskell Developer - Remote - Latin AmericaLead Golang Software Engineer, Commercial SystemsSenior Developer, Elixir & React - Remote - Latin AmericaSenior Elixir Developer, React focused Projects - Remote - Latin AmericaWe're unlocking community knowledge in a new way.Experts add insights directly into each article, started with the help of AI.#J-*****-Ljbffr
