Senior Linux System EngineerWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Linux System Engineer with strong experience in Red Hat and Oracle Linux system administration, automation using Ansible, and deep expertise in Linux patching, scripting, and GIT version control.The Role:Design, implement, and manage Linux system infrastructure, primarily Red Hat and Oracle Linux.Develop, maintain, and optimize Ansible playbooks and roles for configuration management and deployment automation.Perform advanced Linux patching, security updates, and OS hardening.Write and maintain Bash scripts for automation and system maintenance tasks.Administer and support Red Hat Satellite for system provisioning, patching, and lifecycle management.Troubleshoot and resolve complex Linux system issues.Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure consistent environments.Manage source code and configuration using GIT repositories.Monitor system performance, reliability, and security using industry-standard tools.Document processes, system changes, and configurations.Requirements:8+ years of experience in Linux System Administration.Strong proficiency in Ansible and custom module development.Advanced bash scripting skills.Proficient in GIT for version control and collaboration.Experience with Red Hat Satellite for system provisioning and patch management.Deep understanding of Linux patching strategies and OS lifecycle management.Experience working in secure IT environments.Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:Red Hat Certified Engineer or equivalent certification.Experience with other scripting languages such as Python or Perl.Familiarity with configuration management, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools.
