Role OverviewWe are seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to manage the sales pipeline, conduct outreach, and guide prospects through the sales cycle—from initial contact to deal closure.The ideal candidate has previous sales experience in genetics, biotech, clinics, labs, or related industries, excellent communication skills, and the ability to connect with clients across diverse regions.A biology or related background is a plus.Responsibilities:Qualify leads and manage the sales pipeline through proactive outreach and consistent follow-ups.Conduct sales meetings and presentations using company training materials to explain products and services.Communicate clearly and professionally in English (and Spanish when applicable), ensuring strong verbal and written communication.Presents professionally on video calls, maintaining an appropriate background, appearance, and demeanor.Confidently learn and discuss genetics-related topics to engage effectively with clients.Manage the entire sales cycle—from lead generation to contract closure—handling deals ranging from $100,000 to $2 million.Respond promptly to client inquiries and diligently follow up to move opportunities forward.Conduct outreach via phone and email, as well as respond to inbound calls.Build relationships with clients in both English and Spanish-speaking markets, including Mexico, Argentina, and Peru.Participate in the hiring process by recording an application video and delivering a presentation using company training materials.Key Qualifications:Previous sales experience in genetics, biotech, clinics, labs, or related industries.Educational background in Biology/Medical fields is a plus.Strong organizational skills: track discussions, manage follow-ups, prioritize effectively.Familiarity with selling technology-driven solutions strongly preferred.Advanced English proficiency: clear verbal communication, strong written skills, and the ability to present confidently.This role requires a unique blend of scientific knowledge, communication skills, and sales expertise.
