Tasked with being the voice for our customer, you will be responsible for providing a continuous stream of innovative, useful, and beautiful products that support and enhance the competitiveness of our brand.Your Responsibilities Will IncludeParticipate in defining and endorsing cros-category project parametersEnsure a variety of conceptual design alternatives are presented to satisfy user needsCreate aspects of form, aesthetics, and interfaces between users and productsGenerate appropriate documentation to satisfy project criteria into the Whirlpool process.Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to effect to deliver the complete Design packageHelp to create and ensure the implementation of the Visual Brand Language within projectsGenerate images and renderings to help communicate the design intent across the companyCreate the Color, Material and Finish documentation according to the CMF guidelinesFollow-up on DTV (design-to-value) initiatives to ensure product quality and competitiveness during life-cycleCreate, submit and follow-up prototype builds along our modelshop teamAbility to create strong story-telling presentationsMinimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in Industrial Design from an accredited school1-3 years of design experience in a corporate or consultant environment3D Computer modeling skills (Solidworks, CREO or Rhino 3D)Strong project management and planning skillsStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to facilitate communication across different disciplines (advance english is a must)Strong decision-making abilities and self-motivationAdaptability and flexibility to change as designs and processes improve over timeStrong 2D digital and analog visualization skills.
