**Who we are?**We are a global leader and trusted partner focused on developing, manufacturing and distributing agricultural solutions with our brands Challenger®, Fendt®, GSI®, Massey Ferguson® and Valtra®, powered by Fuse® and Precision Planting® smart agricultural solutions.Our purpose is to offer farmer-focused solutions to sustainably feed our world.Our core values of transparency, respect, responsibility, integrity and team spirit underpin our work, how we interact with each other and what strategies we employ to fulfill our mission.Our core values are the practices we use daily in everything we do.If the world of agriculture changes, so do we.With courage.We do this for the farmers.For the people who work for them.For us.For the future.Join us and experience our platform of global diversity and entrepreneurial spirit as you help us create innovative technologies and positively impact the food of nearly 8 billion people worldwide.**What we are looking for**:This Senior Buyer will be responsible for some suppliers of Axles, Tires & Wheels in South America.Main roles & responsibilities: This position aims to identify cost reductions opportunities, ensure supplier's good performance (cost, delivery, quality, warranty), act to support new Product Introduction team within purchasing, support supplier development team as well as raise and lead sub-commodities strategies.Direct report to Regional Commodity Manager.This Senior Buyer will support the respective Team Leader in SA who has daily contact with Global Commodity Manager in order to comply with local and global strategies.Commodity data: 67 suppliers in SA with USD 152M turn over.**What are you going to do**:- Develop and manage relationships with key suppliers.Be closer to them specially due to capacity restrictions.Undertand their needs and act to support as maximum as AGCO can;- Reach Cost savings targets, support process improvement initiatives and assure cost management avoiding cost divergencies;- Identify best sources for part quotation, assure RFQ on time/cost/delivery selecting best supplier for AGCO needs assuring local and global alignment prior sourcing approval;- Support Axles, Tires & Wheels team and all departments as required;- Lead main negotiations with big competitors for this commodity and develop LTA and cost reduction with them;- Increase and accelerate localization projects in alignment with global strategy;- Manage tactical implementation of the global commodity strategy and provide a bridge from operational level of purchasing to strategic sourcing.**What do you need**:- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferably), Business Administration/Comex or any other business area;- Advanced level of English is the minimum requirement;- Knowledge in MS Office, mainly Excel and PPT;- Communication, Negotiation experience in Purchasing (4 year minimum), hands on and result driven;- Good Interpersonal skills;- Experience and knowledge in Axles, Tires & Wheels commodity will be a differentialDiversity, Equity & Inclusion:Our vacancies are for everyone.We recognize the importance of diversity, equity and inclusion in our work environment.We consider diversity as a power to leverage creativity and innovation.We work on equity to ensure that all people have fair conditions to be and evolve.Likewise, we invest in promoting an inclusive environment as a key to increasing team satisfaction and generating more business success.Do you want to know a little more about our history?Access:
