Electronics Hardware Technician I/II/IIIAt SEL, our devices are integral to power grids worldwide, preventing blackouts and enhancing power system safety and reliability.Our commitment to excellence drives us to research, design, build, test, distribute, teach, and support each of our technologies.We take pride in offering the electric power industry the best product warranty and customer support.As an Electronics Hardware Technician, you will support our international Product Hospital operations, focusing on product failure analysis and repairs.This role is perfect for those who enjoy hands-on component level troubleshooting and failure analysis of electronics products, relish problem-solving, and are passionate about serving customers globally.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Required Qualifications- Strong English reading, technical writing, and speaking skills- Two-year electronics engineering technology degree or equivalent- Basic working knowledge of analog and digital electronics- Familiarity with modern test equipment- Willing to travel up to 10% of the time- Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment- Background check results satisfactory to SEL- Negative drug test result(s)Preferred Qualifications- Component level troubleshooting experience- Team leadership skills- Knowledge of SEL equipment- Technical presentation skills- Data analysis skillsPhysical RequirementsLift, push, pull and maneuver up to 20 pounds frequently, and up to 35 pounds occasionallySit and stand for at least 8 hoursVision correctable to ***** or betterAbility to differentiate colorUse of computer keyboard devicesReachBend
