Job Title: Linux Engineer PositionKey Responsibilities:Resolve data quality issues by analyzing root causes and collaborating with internal and external vendors.Support on-call rotations, incident management, problem, and change management initiatives.Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of real-time data while implementing monitoring tools to detect anomalies.Collaborate with regional and global Market Data Infrastructure teams to share knowledge and expertise, enhancing team capabilities and delivering high-quality services.Manage L2 alerts that require specialized knowledge for resolution, documenting and updating knowledge bases, run books, scripts, and ITRS rules where applicable.Oversee the incident lifecycle from identification to resolution, minimizing business impact in production environments.Implement change management processes for production updates, including mandatory content changes and software upgrades performed by vendors or internal teams.The ideal candidate will possess at least 7 years of experience in infrastructure, systems, or production support roles.Proficiency in Linux system administration and scripting skills (Bash and/or Python preferred) are essential.Knowledge of networking and connectivity fundamentals, such as multicast, routing, switches, and TCP/IP, is also required.Effective communication and written English skills are crucial.Familiarity with ITIL Foundation and best practices is desirable.Previous experience in banking, investment, or other financial IT environments is advantageous.
