Essential Job FunctionsReceive, issue review, and process import/export documentation for an assigned base of accounts;Obtain and process Customs release and other government agency releases as appropriate, arranging delivery, and invoicing the import accounts to their SOP;Monitor transactions and notify supervisory personnel of any problem or irregularities;Provide excellent and timely client service by informing the client of the status of their shipment(s);Coordinate the release of goods from the carrier, customs or other governmental agency examinations that may be required;Ensure that all KPI's be followed properly;Support check if all data is completed/correct on TMF;Ensure that costs being applied correctly to avoid loss;Other duties as assigned.Other Skills & Abilities Strong oral and written communication skills;Must have excellent client service skills, responding promptly and professionally to client needs and requests for service and assistance;Must be detail oriented with good organizational skills;Strong computer skills – Microsoft Office, Outlook;Knowledgeable of international operations and freight/logistics optimization;Excellent planning, time management, collaboration, decision making, organization, and presentation skills;Ability to work well in a team environment, collaborate with internal and external resources, respond to questions from senior management, and manage through conflict with a positive, flexible attitude and professionalism;Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.Education Requirements Minimum 1 year related experience.Certification and Licenses Professional certification may be required in some areas.
