We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to support and develop new tools and processes for an on-prem private cloud application.Responsibilities:Develop high-performance cloud technologies, leveraging Python as the main programming language;Collaborate with stakeholders, provide project updates and mentor team members.Key Skills:Backend development in Python;Linux Essentials: hardware, processes, programs, and Linux Operating System components;Command line and file system management;System security: users/groups and file permissions;Scripting and automation;Computer networking and transport layers (TCP/UDP/etc.);Cloud computing concepts;Container technologies (Docker, Linux Containers);Kubernetes Cluster Administration and Helm experience.Desirable Skills:Kubernetes App Development;PostgreSQL and RabbitMQ experience.Bonus Points:Familiarity with Kubernetes orchestration frameworks is highly desired;Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes is a must.We value diversity and inclusion, hiring based solely on skills and qualifications.Perks of Working Here:A dynamic and collaborative work environment;Ongoing training and professional development opportunities;The chance to work with cutting-edge technologies and innovative projects.
