Our team seeks a seasoned high-performing Python engineer to support and develop new tools and processes for an on-prem private cloud application.Key responsibilities include clearly communicating technical concepts, facilitating discussions, collaborating with stakeholders, providing project updates, and mentoring team members.Responsibilities:Develop high-performance cloud and container technologies using Python as the main programming language.Deliver high-quality solutions and code.Implement unit tests to improve the software development lifecycle.Investigate and resolve issues reported during testing and customer integration.Participate actively in all aspects of an agile software development process.Collaborate with a team focused on containerization, virtualization, and fault-tolerant/carrier-grade development.Requirements:Solid backend developer (preferably but not restricted to Python) with knowledge of Linux Essentials.Moderate knowledge in concepts of hardware, processes, programs, and components of the Linux Operating System.Ability to work on the command line and with files.Ability to create and restore compressed backups and archives.System security: users/groups and file permissions for public and private directories.Ability to create and run simple scripts.Strong computer networking knowledge and transport layers.Knowledge of cloud computing concepts.Experience collaborating effectively across remote teams and time zones, and collaborating with Senior Technical Leaders.Experience with GIT, Jira, Gitlab, and code review tools.Experience with container technologies (e.g., Docker, Linux Containers, etc.).Experience with Kubernetes Cluster Administration (design infrastructure that involves one or more Kubernetes clusters, configure, control, and monitor Kubernetes clusters).Experience with Docker.Experience with Helm.Benefits:Opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud technologies.Collaborative environment with experienced professionals.Chance to develop skills in Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.About Us:We are a leading digital engineering and modernization partner of top enterprises and digital native companies.
